History

With more than half a century behind the 3D name, we have proudly taken our place as a first choice service provider in the construction industry throughout the southeastern United States.

Our company traces its roots to 1956, when it was called the Dixie Bridge Company. The firm was created to meet the needs of the Interstate highway program, and specialized in bridge construction throughout Kentucky and the surrounding areas. That program gradually wound down and the ownership of the company transitioned; in 1985, the Dixie Bridge Company became 3D Enterprises, Inc.

As a result of prudent strategic decisions, 3D diversified its operations with three subsidiaries. 3D Enterprises Contracting Corporation handles general contracting activities and is tightly coupled with its two sister subsidiaries: 3D Enterprises Construction Management, which provides construction management services and 3D Services Corporation, which focuses on facility servicing. We also embrace an aggressive agenda of environmentally sustainable construction.

Throughout the years, the 3D organization has remained successful by anticipating construction market needs and procurement preferences. Our highly trained staff of engineers and construction experts utilizes modern and sophisticated technologies to ensure construction projects are completed with quality and on time to meet customer demands.

Today, as we enter into a new era of vision and growth, we continue to live up to our long-time motto: “We complete our projects when customers need them and as customers like them.” Staying abreast of changes in technologies and regulations is important to our process but perhaps most of all, we are dedicated to developing the expert leadership and teamwork that we believe has defined us and set us apart.
